The Medical Letter CME Program is an added value for The Medical Letter’s subscribers and is based on content from The Medical Letter newsletter. Its mission is to support the professional development of physicians, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other health care professionals by providing independent, unbiased drug information and prescribing recommendations that are free of industry influence.
The self-study tests are available in print or online as a semi-annual comprehensive exam or as an online per-issue series. Participants may earn up to 26 Category 1 credits per year.

The Medical Letter Inc., a nonprofit organization founded in 1958,
offers health care professionals objective, independent analysis
of both prescription and over-the-counter drugs. In addition to its newsletters, The Medical Letter
on Drugs and Therapeutics and Treatment Guidelines from The
Medical Letter, it also publishes handbooks and software on
topics such as adverse drug interactions and antimicrobial therapy.
