The
new Adverse Drug Interactions Program features the ability
to save drug lists under your patient's name. Information about
the patient may be saved in a patient profile and included in the
Interactions Report.
Looking up a patient is easy
in the Find Patient panel. The name can be selected
from the alphabetized list or the last name can be typed
to help find the name in the list. Selecting a name will
load the associated drug list into the List of Drugs to
Check.
A valuable feature of the
program is the ability to create a Patient Profile
for each patient and to save the drug list they are taking
or might take as part of that profile. Then, in the future,
the Interactions Report for that patient can be re-run
at anytime. There is an area of the panel to type in patient
notes.
